The Harbour Breton Hospital is an accredited fifteen-bed facility that services a
population of 3000-4000 people. The hospital serves on average 20,000 to 24,000 patients
per year, with approximately 500 admittances per year. Staff includes:

Clinics
Mose Ambrose Clinic and Hermitage Clinic are satellite clinics of the Harbour Breton.
Both clinics staff includes:
* 1 full time physician * 1 full time nurse
McCallum, Gaultois and Rencontre East do have there own clinics and regularly scheduled visits are made to these clinics weekly or biweekly by a nurse practitioner and every five weeks by a physician.
The Bay D'Espoir Medical Clinic is located in St. Alban's. The clinic sees between
12,000-14,000 patients annually with laboratory and x-ray services on site. Monthly visits
by specialists compliment the services provided by the clinic. The clinic's staff
includes:
* 2 physicians * 1 full time nurse (2 casual) * 2 laboratory and x-ray technicians
Conne River has it own clinic, which is managed by the Conne River Band Council. Physicians from the Bay D'Espoir Medical Clinic make a weekly visit to this clinic.

Dental and Optometrist Services
Dental Services are provided in Conne River on a day to day basis. In St. Alban's, Harbour Breton and Hermitage, dental services are provided one week per month.
Optometrist services are provided in Conne River, St. Alban's, Hermitage and Harbour Breton one to two days per month, in each of these communities, depending on the need.

Senior's Facilities
Sunset Cottages
Sunset Cottages are located in the Harbour Breton area and consist of eight cottages that provide both single and double occupancy. Sunset Cottages are available for retired individuals who are out of the work force and are able to live independently.
KM Homes
KM Homes, a level 2 facility is situated in the community of St. Alban's. With a fully trained staff of nine, KM Homes provides two staff members twenty-four hours a day to assist residents with their day to day needs. KM Home is licensed to accommodate thirty people with six single rooms and twelve double rooms.
Greenwood Manor
Greenwood Manor, located in the community of Milltown is a twelve apartment facility that is self-contained by the residents of each apartment. The apartments are fully furnished and have all the accessories that residents may need.
