Internet dial-up service is available locally in Bay d'Espoir through a local Internet Services Provider, Conne.com, which utilizes a satellite connection direct to Cancom in Mississauga, Ontario. The average connection rate in the local area is between 26400 and 38400 bps. The Sympatico Internet dial-up service, offered by Aliant, is available locally to all towns in the region. On the Connaigre Peninsula, Aliant also offers Internet service via a DSL network. Persona Inc. offers high speed Internet access through its cable networks in Bay D'Espoir and Hr. Breton.
