Cable Television

Cable Television is available in most communities and many are subscribing to the direct-to-home programming packages. Persona Inc. is the major cable television provider in the region with the exception of one community, Conne River, which has its own cable television service. 

Community bulletin board services are also available throughout the region. In Bay d'Espoir, Rencontre East and Harbour Breton this service is provided by the local schools in partnership with Persona Inc.. In Belleoram, the Recreation Committee manages the community bulletin board while in Conne River the cable company provides the service. The Conne River service also provides cable television to the Town of Morrisville.
