The marine environment of the Coast of Bays is ideal for farming several species of shellfish and finfish. The region also boasts the largest commercial salmonid hatchery in the province. Millions of steelhead trout and Atlantic Salmon are hatched annually; then on-grown at marine farms throughout the Coast of Bays. |
