The Coast of Bays Corporation welcomes Ms. Kim James to the Corporation in the position of Youth Co-ordinator.

Kim has a Certificate of Business Education from the Holy Heart of Mary Business Education Program. Her workplace experience brings to the region a vast resource in administration in the construction, fast food and insurance industries.

In the Coast of Bays region, Kim is involved with the Girl Guide movement, Crime Prevention Committee and the Alternative Measures program.

As Youth Co-ordinator, Kim will be getting the message of the Strategic Economic Plan out to the youth of the region. In doing that she will be encouraging youth to become an active partner in economic development and assisting them with identifying a strategy to be heard. She will be creating an awareness of the opportunities in the region as well as the various government agency programs available for youth. Kim is an advocate of entrepreneurship and will convey that to the youth of the region.

Kim will be working with the schools in the region to establish a regional youth committee with a focus on a regional youth forum to be held early in 1999.
