The Coast of Bays Corporation website was awarded
second place in the Information Technology category of the Marketing Canada Awards
sponsored by the Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC). The award was
accepted by Tracey Perry, Executive Director of the Corporation, at the annual conference
of the association in Calgary in September.
The website is used by the Corporation as a promotional and an investment
prospecting tool. Besides containing general promotional information, the site also
contains a regional profile section, a tourism section, a regional news section and a
quick list for easy access to frequently used sites. Feedback received from our
viewers also indicates that many expatriates use it to keep in touch with happenings at
home in the Coast of Bays region. This website ensures that the Coast of Bays region is
being marketed to the world twenty four hours a day, year round, as a good place to live,
invest and to do business. |
