In an effort to provide a service to the people of the
Coast of Bays seeking employment in the region, our Human Resources
Planner, Deborah Collier, has facilitated an online resume
service. "I also invite persons who
are now living away from home and would like to return to the Coast of
Bays to complete a resume form as well", said Deborah as the system was
switched on.
Tracey Perry, Executive Director of the Coast of Bays
Corporation, stated that she "hopes to see this tool put to good
use by the public." She continued to say that "while
the Corporation cannot guarantee employment as a result of entering
resume information in the system, we are pleased to be able to assist with
the job seeking process."
This information is stored in an MS Access database
which will be made available to employers wishing to hire or to
investors analysing the availability of various skillsets in our
region. The entry form, accessed from a button on our home
page, is very easy to use. The person entering the resume
information is entirely responsible for the accuracy of the
content.
For persons not having Internet access at home, we
encourage you to visit a Community Access Program (CAP) site in your
area to avail of the computer services and guidance there. |
