The week of April 26 - May 1 was Library Week across Newfoundland and Labrador. In celebration of Library Week 1999, the Coast of Bays Information Technology Facilitator travelled to Gaultois and gave a presentation on the Internet to a group of enthusiastic people. The presentation included background information about the Internet, how it came about and how it is evolving. The evening finished with an online demonstration and a question and answer session.

Earlier in the week, similar presentations were given at the public libraries in St. Alban's, Hermitage and Harbour Breton.
