Discussing opportunities in the Coast of Bays and the province
On Friday, November 26, Sam Stack of the Department of Development and Rural Renewal was at the Regional Resource Centre in St. Alban's to deliver a seminar on the "Getting the Message Out" program.   Staff of the Coast of Bays Corporation, South Coast Community Development Corporation, Department of Development and Rural Renewal and Human Resources Development Canada took part in the seminar.
Sam talked about the over 10,000 products and services being produced in the province.  He had an extensive display of products that are being produced in the province and are not well known about.   This is the purpose of the "Getting the Message Out" program - educating fellow Newfoundlanders and Labradorians and the world about the products and services we are producing right here in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Sam spoke about the challenges we face as a province and discussed the many opportunities for growth in the manufacturing, information technology, tourism, health, aquaculture and natural resources sectors.

For more information about the products and services being developed in Newfoundland and Labrador, visit the "Getting the Message Out" website at http://www.gmo.nf.ca .
