Ferry Service Links the Coast of Bays with the Burin Peninsula and Saint-Pierre et Miquelon

A new ferry service began serving the Coast of Bays region and the Burin Peninsula on July 17 and will continue to the Labour Day Weekend. The service is being operated by St. Pierre Tours based in Fortune.

The service is provided by the 96 passenger M.V. Arethusa which departs Fortune at 5:00 PM on Friday and Sunday evening and departs from Harbour Breton at 7:15 the same evenings. This service allows for easy travel from the Coast of Bays region and central Newfoundland to the Burin Peninsula and on to the French islands of St. Pierre et Miquelon the following morning.

Return excursion fares (Harbour Breton - Fortune) are as follows:
$50.00 CDN +HST per adult
$25.00 CDN + HST per Child (Age 2-11)
